Bissau, 5 April (UNIOGBIS/PIU) - Following the adoption on 28 February by the Security Council of resolution 2404, on the mandate of UNIOGBIS, the UN Department of Political Affairs (DPA) led a technical mission of UN entities to Guinea-Bissau on 26-30 March, to ensure the effective implementation of its revised mandate. In addition to UNIOGBIS, the mission met with United nations Country team in the country, key national stakeholders, and regional and international interlocutors. The Director of DPA Africa II Division led the mission. Abdel-Fatau Musah is interviewed by UNIOGBIS/PIU.
