The Accounts Payable Service Line (APSL) coordinates and manages invoices for the commercial vendors and travel management companies who provide the United Nations with goods and services on behalf of the 17 client missions in Africa. APSL works assiduously in conjunction with their counterparts in the mission to ensure that payments are expeditiously completed to the satisfaction of vendors.

APSL is made up of 31 staff members and distributed into 6 teams with a gender parity of 16 women to 15 men who process annual average of 62,000 invoices, both local and international, with an average total value of USD$1.9b annually. APSL also manages Prompt Payment Discounts (PPD) for all discounted invoices which saves the organization about USD$2.9 million on yearly basis.
