Client Services Section (CSS)

The Client Services Section (CSS) is responsible for embedding a client-centric culture within the RSCE, underpinned by the philosophy of “One Client Experience” – which emphasizes professionalism, consistency and standardization in client service across all service delivery channels.

CSS delivers high quality, timely and cost-effective Client Support Service through the one-stop-shop approach in query management on Finance, HR, Travel and IUP services provided to RSCE clients. This supports the mission effort in their peacekeeping efforts by removing the administrative and transactional burden.

CSS co-ordinates client-led mission field visits and carries out the strategic client satisfaction survey to collate feedback used to improve on service delivery.  CSS acts as the interface between RSCE and its clients across the 17 peacekeeping and special political missions in Africa. Through a dedicated team, CSS operates a multi-lingual contact centre through which the 17,000 staff in missions can reach the RSCE.  The Client Service Delivery Model (CSDM), provides a structured mechanism for the CSS to partner with client missions in the process of service delivery.
