25 female military and police personnel from several contributing countries began to the fifth edition of the UN Signals Academy Women’s Outreach Course at the UN Regional Service Centre Entebbe. The three week course runs from October 15th to November 2nd and prepares military staff officers to be deployed in UN peacekeeping operations as signals experts in a Force or Sector Headquarters and police officers as advisors to police commissioners on information and communications technology matters.
