Umoja Supply Chain Phase 1 of the Galileo Decommissioning project (GDP) kicked off in MINUSMA Mali on Wednesday 06 September bringing the organisation one step closer to transferring all functionalities related to inventory, property, and fleet management previously done in Galileo into Umoja.
Umoja Technicians and Support staff underwent the Galileo Decommissioning Project (GDP) teach-back Training on Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) that took place from 07 to 11 August 2017 at the Regional Service Centre Entebbe (RSCE).
Thirty nine participants from five peacekeeping missions and one special political mission participated in the fourth training of trainers' course about how field missions can help prevent conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) and respond effectively.
The Regional Service Centre Entebbe hosted its 4th Client Board Meeting from 6-7 July 2017 in the Regional Training and Conference Centre in Entebbe, Uganda. The meeting was chaired by UNSOS Director, Mr. Amadu Kamara.
